The renovation of this traditional house in Hancock Park involved the removal of several first floor walls that divided the lower back half of the house into four small, dark rooms. The result is a large room with seating, dining and play areas centered on an open kitchen. The bamboo cabinets, colored glass tile, and Verner Panton flower pot lights were combined to complement the existing finishes and the owner’s eclectic collection of art and Danish modern furniture.
